About London
London is unique in England in having its own elected Assembly and Mayor. The Mayor of London works with a number of key governing bodies to manage services within the Capital. Most significant in this coordinated approach are the boroughs of London, The Greater London Authority (GLA), London Councils, and, specifically concerned with London’s transport system, Transport for London (TfL).
